Buechi Yachting

Raised in the world of sailing thanks to my father Patrice Senior.

When I was still a kid, he bought me my first boat, a beautiful optimist to build together, starting from a few pieces of marine plywood and some drawings. After a few months of evening work, chosen the color and name, “Hurricane” was ready to sail and make me appreciate even more the beauty of being able to move using only the force of the wind. Then in the years the winter regattas here at Elba and the beautiful sails around the Mediterranean. I also remember with pleasure the transfer with my father of a boat from race 1934 “BONA”, all in wood, taken in Tuscany and brought to French Riviera, following the whole coast, where it was expected for the regattas of boats of epoch.

For a few years I lived in boat in Portoferraio with my father. In short, in my youth the sea was never lacking. Growing up in Ticino, a land rich in lakes, did not prevent me from knowing other passions such as motor racing, and for this I studied and obtained my Diploma of Car Mechanic in Switzerland. The call of the sea did not wait and a few years ago I moved to Elba to work in my father’s company, bringing my mechanical knowledge on boats. Thanks to everything I have learned and my passion for sailing, since 2010 I have been managing the maintenance of all the boats in our charter fleet. When you say “Make of the Passion your own work”.
